. PARTY ENTERTAINMENT FOR CHILDREN 1-12 YEARS

Aloha! How's it? I'm Artie Parti. I'm a magician, musician, party planner, juggler, balloon animal maker, and game leader and have been entertaining children at parties and special events for over 25 years.

I'm not a clown; that is, I don't wear makeup. I don't wear a clown red nose nor a wig. But I classify myself as a comedy magician with skills and experience far surpassing those of an ordinary magician, balloon making party clown.

My background includes: 12 years in Recreation, 4 years of which I spent teaching pre-school in Beverly Hills. I am also a substitute teacher in the elementary schools here on Maui, mostly at Kamali'i Elem., Kihei Elem., Pomaika'i Elem., and Kahului School. The students know me as "Mr. Parti."

At a party or special event, I dress in colorful party clothes with no facial make-up. The birthday child is the focus, helping me with comedy/magic, balloon animals, being serenaded with 12-string acoustic guitar and songs, and being the leader of the games I direct. Generally, the games consist of parachute games for those under 5 years, limbo for those 5 years and up, and a squirt gun fight for all if we are outside. I juggle 3 balls, and then 4. Finally, I make balloon animals and shapes for all.

For children 7-9 years, upon request, I can bring rolls of toilet tissue ("mummy 2-ply"). Half the group wraps the other half in mummy 2-ply thereby making living mummies. I bring music to make mummies by.

Rates for parties:

1 year Baby Luau's:

$220 for 1 hour & 30 minutes, and $50 each additional 1/2 hour. Includes: comedy magic, guitar/songs, and juggling on stage. Then balloon animals down from the stage. (Add $15 for Lahaina, Kaanapali, Kahana, Napili).

Birthday Parties (ages 2-12 years):

$200 for the same activities above plus an active game (but not on a stage). . . . . . . . . or . . . . . $175 for 1 hour except that the balloon animals are made in advance & brought to the party.

Balloon Animals only: $100 per hour, 90 minute minimum.
